Renewing Your RBT Certification and Uploading it to Medicaid
Renewing your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification annually is crucial to demonstrate continued competency and adherence to the professional and ethical standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Equally important is uploading this renewed certification to Medicaid each year, as Medicaid requires this documentation to verify your eligibility and competence as a service provider in the behavioral health field. This annual update on Medicaid ensures the continuity of care for your clients, maintains your Medicaid Provider Identification for billing purposes, and complies with regulatory requirements. Failure to update your Medicaid profile with your renewed certification risks removal from the Medicaid system, disrupting the services you provide to your clients.

What are In-service Trainings?
In-service trainings are required trainings that each individual provider must possess in order to be eligible to provide therapeutic services in the field of ABA. Some of these in-service trainings can be found free of charge in various sites. Others must be payed for and complete in person. On this site we will provide most of the necessary in-service trainings to be able to practice as an RBT in the state of Florida. Keep in mind that these trainings vary throughout the different ABA agencies, but most will be found on this site.
Disclaimer: This sites serves as a guide or starting point for new and current providers. Please pay close attention to the different instructions provided on the different sites and if you feel unable to complete in-service trainings on your own, consider investing on in-person trainings.
